Community of Collecting Books, was created in the context of my diploma thesis with the topic »Differentiation of elementary observations«.

With my work, I question the principle of the museum as a purely physical place; this implies questions about the importance and significance of a physical work of art and art object in place. In collaboration with and with the support of Eva Linhart, I have developed and created a concept for a platform that makes it possible to make the book art and graphic art collection of the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt accessible to the public. This led to the concept for an online catalog called »Community of Collecting Books« or CoCB. It offers a variety of mediation and experience offerings and opens up a wide range of access options for users with their different interests, linking analog and digital.

A book was created as a form of documentation of the entire project, as well as T-shirts as a supplement.

There was a presentation of the entire project to the museum staff, including museum director Mr. Wagner K, to present ideas for the implementation of the project and to discuss about a collaboration.
