Hi,
I am a communication designer from Frankfurt am Main. In my work as a designer, I enjoy developing a comprehensive concept from which all further design decisions grow. While I originally specialized in editorial and graphic design, I now also work in corporate design, digital design & conception and illustration.
Since 2020 I have also been working as a project manager on the project "Community of Collecting Books", an online platform that deals with digital strategies for museums.
The whole project was developed as part of my diploma thesis in cooperation with Eva Linhart, curator of the department of book art and graphics at the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. With this work, my interest in art education and digital design was awakened. In my work I dealt with the creative responsibility towards society and dealt with topics like digital presence, strategies and the needs of the museum and its visitors to be in the foreground. About the necessity & approach I have talked to the entire staff of the Museum Angewandte Kunst.
In 2019, the catalog "Seltsame Tage - Arno Schmidt und Darmstadt 1955-1958" exhibition made it onto the longlist of the competition The Most Beautiful German Books of the Stiftung Buchkunst. The entire project also won an award at the ADC.
In the past and present I have worked as a freelance graphic designer, among others for Bureau Sandra Doeller or the Deutsches Zweirad- und NSU-Museum. From 2015 to 2020 I studied communication design at the Department of Design at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt with a focus on typography and graphic design. In 2017 I also did a six month internship at Bureau Sandra Doeller.
I am looking forward to working with you and to every contact.
